Calling all emerging artists from the Pilbara and Kimberley – Radius 7.0 is now open for Expressions of Interest!
Radius 7.0 is more than an exhibition; it’s a professional development journey for early-career creatives looking to grow their practice and gain real-world gallery experience. Whether you’re working in painting, sculpture, textiles, digital media, photography or beyond – this is your chance to shine.
Why Apply?
Radius 7.0 offers a unique opportunity to grow your creative practice through tailored mentorship, professional exhibition experience, and meaningful community connection. Participants benefit from three one-on-one mentorship sessions and a dynamic group session – designed to support artistic development and individual goals. The program fosters a supportive environment where emerging artists gain confidence, refine their voice, and expand their professional networks.
Artists from all disciplines; painting, sculpture, textiles, digital media, photography and beyond – are encouraged to apply. With gallery representation at the Courthouse Gallery+Studio, Radius 7.0 offers the platform and visibility early-career creatives need to thrive in their regional arts journey.
Who Should Apply?
Radius 7.0 is open to early-career artists living in the Pilbara (Shire of Ashburton, Shire of East Pilbara, Shire of Roebourne, Town of Port Hedland) or the Kimberley (Shire of Broome, Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley, Shire of Derby-West Kimberley, Shire of Halls Creek).
We especially encourage EOIs from:
+ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists
+ Creatives with disability
+ Artists from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
If you’re at the beginning of your creative journey and ready to grow with professional support, Radius 7.0 is for you. Artists working across all disciplines; painting, sculpture, textiles, digital media, photography, and beyond, are welcome.
This program supports those whose artwork has not yet been publicly exhibited, offering mentorship, visibility, and representation through the Courthouse Gallery+Studio. It’s your platform to step forward and shape your future in the regional arts landscape.
The Courthouse Gallery+Studio would like to acknowledge the Kariyarra, Ngarla, and Nyamal people as the Traditional Custodians of the Town of Port Hedland lands. We recognise their strength and resilience and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
The Courthouse Gallery+Studio is managed by The Junction Co. on behalf of the Town of Port Hedland.
