This artwork brings together industry, nature, and a touch of the surreal. A port authority tower watches over the ships, while an iron ore reclaimer stands in the foreground. In the distance, ships move across the water as a helicopter flies toward them. Above, trains burst from a portal in the sky, forming star-like and tile like patterns. Among them, delicate bird shaped flowers and Mulla Mulla blooms add a natural element. Wheelbarrows frame an open portal, two on each side and one above, unleashing a wave of Hedland’s energy, merging two worlds into one.
