Artist statement: Using the iconography on beer bottle lids of power and strength through different animals Cold Comforter 2 focusses on the methods used to encourage binge drinking. The transformation of specific found objects is an important part of my practice.
Materials and techniques: Hand dyed upholstery samples and beer bottle lids stitched together with embroidery thread according to the Feng Shui Bagua pattern.
