Memory’s a fragile thing, and language? A slow-motion train wreck that twists and desecrates itself over time like a bad relationship. The things we thought would last forever are always one breath away from being swallowed by time. It’s pathetic, really. But it’s all we’ve got.
Language was supposed to be the bridge that connects us, makes us feel less alone. But here we are, tossing half-baked words into an abyss, watching them crumble the second they leave our mouths. Yet we keep doing it, because deep down, we know it matters. Messy, chaotic, imperfect, like love; but somehow still full of meaning and some strange kind of hope.
It’s about communication; or if you’re feeling poetic, the lack of it. The space between what we say and what we fail to say. It’s not about perfect words; it’s the raw truth behind them. We cling onto fleeting moments because we know that’s what makes life worth living, even when we also know it’s a ticking time-bomb.
So, I guess I’m asking... When the dust settles and the noise dies down, what survives the wreckage? It’s not the perfect words. It’s the vulnerability, the relentless pursuit of connection. That’s what survives. Because hope, in all its messy, tragic glory, lives in those moments. That’s where the beauty lies - right there in the disaster.
Please, feel free to respond. Sorry I’m busy, I’m not available right now, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you.
