Artist statement: Life is not always orderly and predictable in this modern world. Our minds, families, communities and governments often seem to experience chaos, before order is restored. As a child, the chaos of my falling Fiddlesticks bothered me. No matter how I released them I needed to straighten them and restore order. It's a natural instinct.
Materials and techniques: Top and Backing - cotton fabrics. Batting - wool/poly mix. Central medallion and strips - applique. Machine quilted
